Please join us to celebrate the 75th Anniversary of the founding of the Zen Buddhist Temple of Chicago. This is an opportunity for our community to come together and reflect on the paths that brought us here and where we are headed in the future.

Please join us on Sunday, August 25th at 10:00 a.m. for a special O-Bon service to honor our ancestors. At this service, Temple community members will reflect on the teachings that have profoundly impacted their lives. After service (around noon), we will share a potluck meal either at the Temple (at 608 Dempster in Evanston) or, weather permitting, at Elliot Park (at Greenleaf St & Lake Shore Blvd). Please RSVP for Obon at your earliest convenience.

We hope that this celebration will lead you to profound reflection on the meaning and direction of your life. Your presence and participation are deeply appreciated, and we are grateful for your continued support. Let us reflect together on how the teachings have brought great joy and meaning to our lives, and how we can help all beings experience the same.
